Why We Love It
1. Attention to Details. I admire those people have that keen eye for detail and are able to execute a vision they have in their head! Seeing as many houses as we do, you can sometimes think "if you have seen one, you have seen them all"....Well that is not true here! The details in this house are very cool! Concrete counter tops in the kitchen to the half bath on the first floor. This house is full of surprises!
2. Backyard. I am in love with this backyard. All the seasons of the year, you have a great view. It is amazing not to have neighbors behind you! Large mature trees line the backyard and define the boundary lines of the large lot. The two tiered deck serves and as an extension of the living area to take advantage of the beautiful days in Ohio. The lower level of the deck holds the brick smoker! Want a fire pit...no problem! You just bring the s'mores and lawn chairs.
3. Location. Many people are catching on to the fact that you can drive about 7 minutes south of Grove City, and save about $100 a month in taxes, have a great school district, and great neighbors!
What You Need To Know
The Seller had quite a creative eye with his attention to detail and vision for the home. As you enter, you will notice it has quite a two story grand entry. The whole home has been freshly painted with one of Joanna Gaines favorite neutral light grays and all of the doors and trims have been freshly painted with a crisp white! The house flows with an abundance of natural light. This is a traditional floor plan that is large enough to meet your open floor plan requests. Ceramic tile meets you at the door, real hardwood floors span the rest first floor and upstairs is newer carpet.
The kitchen is spacious. The concrete counter tops are a welcomed changed from the same vinyl or even granite counter tops you see everyday; very solid and durable! The faux brick back splash is the perfect compliment to them. The bay window is cut out perfectly for an eat in area. I know in my house, this seems to be the space that we use the most for our day to day meals. From here the home flows nicely into the family from. On the other side of the house is the large dining room and large formal living room. I don't know that I have ever seen a half bath this cool! The concrete vessel bowl sits on a petrified wood vanity. The faucet looks like something you would see on The Jetsons! The laundry room is also on this level.
The 2nd floor has the master suite that spans the depth of the house. The bedroom is huge with a large window that allows natural light flow through the room. With a beautiful view of the tree lined backyard. The view is even beautiful in the winter, with the trees bear, you are able to see the mature, large pine tree and off in the distance, the sprawling hills are stunning. I would place two chairs around the windows with a small table in between and make a quaint reading nook, a space to "get away from it all". The vaulted ceilings and molding lined plant ledges creates height and openness. There is an arched transition to His and Her walk in closets that are large enough for your winter, spring, summer and fall clothes. Terra cotta ceramic tile leads you to the master bathroom. The large soaking tub is to your right. I think Bath and Body Works is having a sale on the fragrance candles...perfect! The vanity has a beautiful stone counter top; the shower is larger than normal as well. The home has two other large bedrooms and a loft. The loft overlooks the entry way. It could easily be converted to a 4th bedroom, the closet is already there. If you don't have a need for the bedroom, this versatile space can be a playroom, office, game room or whatever your hearts desires!
The basement has the drywall up and only needs flooring. This area was used to work on most of the amazing details you find this this home, so flooring was not conducive for that. At least you get to pick it out! The flooring, roof, hot water tank, painting and hot water take have already been updated. You can spend that money on decorating!!! This is a great house, in a great neighborhood and great location. The shopping and freeway are about 7 minutes away. Like to golf, Fox Fire Golf Course is a stone throw away. I don’t think this move in ready home will last very long!
