Jackson Homes | SOLD
SOLD 3 Bed | 1 Bath | 950 SqFt
Why We Love It
1. Price. These days it is so hard to find a nice home where you can move right in under $110k, so your mortgage payment can be less than a rental payment would be. Well, look no more! We have an adorable low maintenance ranch for $109,900. Most of the homes at this price point need a ton of work, but not this one. It is ready for you to move your furniture right on in.
2. Location. Located in the heart of Grove City, you are walking distance to Jolly Pirate, Dairy Queen, and one of my favorite restaurants... Memories. The house also sits behind Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH), which is actually where I learned to ride my bike. My dad would take me there because it had a huge parking lot for me to learn and now OLPH also has a wonderful park, soccer field, softball diamond, and a really fun festival every August. You won’t have to worry about the parking, you can just walk.
3. Yard. Both the front and back yards are wonderful. As you pull up to the home, you will see a well manicured lawn and landscaping. Right now, the blooms on the tree are beautiful! The front yard has a lovely front porch, if sitting out front is your style, or a completely fenced in backyard, if you like a little more privacy. On warm summer evenings, there is a large patio out back for entertaining and grilling and I just got an email today that Target has yard furniture on sale. There is a large shed to hold your lawnmower and any other tools. I have a feeling you will spend a lot of time back there once you move in.
What You Need To Know
This home has great curb appeal. As you pull up, I am not sure what you will notice first, white picket fence, adorable yellow door, or brick accents to the home. The home really stands out and is picture perfect.
The builder really made good use of this space for the square footage. This was a popular floor plan back in the 1950's because they are practical and functional. My family grew up not far from here, in a house just like this. My grandma raised 4 kids in a 3 bedroom ranch with one bathroom.
The living room is large and is centered around a picture window. The main living areas have been painted neutral, so any decor will blend nicely. There is a white painted accent wall, that resembles a rotated ship-lap that they use on almost every home redo on Fixer Upper. I absolutely love the contrast and texture of that wall.
The transition from the living room to the kitchen is identified with some really cute pillars. The kitchen is large as well, giving you plenty of space for an eat-in table. With tons of cabinet space, there is enough to spare to use one or two as a pantry and the counter tops are neutral like the rest of the house. Similar to many homes in this neighborhood, the washer and dryer are in the kitchen.
The bedrooms are all very well sized. The largest bedroom has two closet doors for convenience and the full bathroom has been remodeled as well.
Feel the need to add a 4th bedroom or a family room? There is plenty of space in the back, if you want to add an addition.
You will not have to worry about updating the roof, gutters, windows or the hot water tank, they have all been done recently! I have a feeling this house won’t last long!
