Why We Love It
1. Because It's Amazing. Hopefully you can stop admiring the photos, video, and 3D tour long enough to schedule a showing. **Make sure you check out the 3D Tour... it's pretty George Jetson** This home looks like it's an "After" shot from an HGTV show; from cool light fixtures and the kitchen's custom-built island and subway tile to the huge owner's suite and private backyard. You don't have to do all of the work... but you can still take all the credit. ;-)
2. The Extra Spaces. We've become accustomed to paying most of our attention to kitchens, master bedrooms, and living rooms and while those spaces are pretty amazing in this home, we really like the extra spaces like the den, loft, patio, and basement. The den is tucked away on the first floor providing privacy for an office, play room, or another TV. The loft is open, large, and perfect for a reading or homework nook. The patio is covered providing shade from the sun and shelter from the rain or snow. The finishing of the basement has been started - a full bathroom is completed, a separate kitchen is started, and it just needs your paint or drywall and some flooring.
3. The Kitchen. There is a reason this is already the third time we've mentioned the kitchen. This room is the highlight of an already impressive list. The Sellers had the island custom built to fit the space and it's a perfect spot for conversations and food prep. The granite counter tops continue throughout the space and are a great compliment to the subway tile back splash. They were able to do without the cabinets above the sink - which was a GREAT decision - because there are two separate pantries. Stainless steel appliances add to the clean look and feel.
What You Need To Know
It's not often that you find homes this nice at a price like this. We're going to make one lucky Buyer very happy... and a bunch of other unlucky Buyers very sad. Which Buyer will you be?
First Floor: Stepping into the home, you're guests are greeted by a beautiful dining room and foyer that features a "cutout" open to the upstairs loft. A hallway to the right leads you to the powder room and private den. This great little room has many possibilities thanks to it's size and location.
Pushing further into the home, you pass the first floor laundry and enter the amazing kitchen. We've already gushed about it enough so we'll move right on into the living room. Plush carpet, a corner fireplace, and views into the the private backyard make this a great place to spend your evenings.
Second Floor: Head up the switchback staircase to the second level. This home has a different take on the traditional loft... and we like it. With lots of natural light and half-walls instead of balusters, it feels like one big room. It's perfect for it's current use - another sitting area - or it could be a homework nook, teen-suite, or workout space.
Your owner's suite soars with vaulted ceilings but remains grounded thanks to a low bank of windows. The room is large and the bathroom is spa-like; the soaking tub is the perfect blend of privacy and openness. The separate walk-in closets are both large so you may have to do a little more shopping... darn.
Three more bedrooms await on the other side of the loft and while all of them are large, one is clearly the largest as it feels bigger than some master bedroom that we see. These three bedrooms share the other full bathroom located up here, but a double vanity will help keep arguments at a minimum.
Basement: The hard part of finishing the basement has already been completed. A full bathroom is already in place and its centralized location leaves you options hon how much of the basement you use for storage and how much you want to finish. As you can see, it's even nice enough to use in its current condition because there is already a pool table down there.
Exterior: Plenty of parking spots are available thanks to the very nice two car garage and the third car parking pad that was poured next to the house. The landscaping around the home is mature and well cared for. The backyard is fenced-in and has a natural screen between you and the open farmland behind the home. You can enjoy a private meal on your covered patio and almost forget that you live within the comfort of a neighborhood out front.
