Why We Love It
1. The Owner's Suite. When this becomes your home, do yourself a favor… Promise to always leave your stress and worries behind whenever you step into your owner's suite. Let those issues melt away while you relax in the tub, read a book next to the 4-sided fireplace, or just catch up on an episode of your favorite guilty pleasure -- Vanderpump Rules, Ancient Aliens, SportsCenter, etc. -- You know you have one. A room this special deserves to be your sanctuary away from the daily grind of deadlines, homework, and headaches.
2. The Location. "Pinnacle Estates" says it all. This home – along with the 11 other participants of the 2007 BIA Parade of Homes – helped set a new standard in the Grove City real estate market. With home prices eclipsing $400,000 over in The Links and your neighbors in The Estates pushing over $900,000… you'll be positioned well for many years to come. Located next to the clubhouse of Pinnacle Golf Club, feel free to sleep in a little longer before your morning tee time and order that bottle of wine with dinner on Cimi's patio; you're only steps away from the tee box, driving range, and Grove City's most scenic patio.
3. The Great Room. This great room / kitchen combo is an entertainer's dream. The living space is large enough to allow for plenty of seating options and is anchored by a beautiful gas fireplace with a modern feel. We love the plantation shutters that were added to the main wall, the iron rails of the catwalk, the floor to ceiling windows, and a room so large that their 100″ TV doesn't feel out of scale. The entire space is open to a kitchen with granite, high end appliances, gorgeous cabinets, and a flow that keeps everyone involved in the same conversation.
What You Need To Know
When someone builds a home knowing a few thousand people are going to walk through it before they move in, they usually go all out with the details. That's a perk of owning this former Parade of Homes participant… lots of details.
First Floor: All of the expected rooms are here; with a couple of bonuses as well. Located on opposite sides of the foyer are the office and formal dining room. Each space has large windows, crown moldings, and custom trim work.
Past the stairs and catwalk is where you'll find the great room. With hardwood floors, a 2-story wall of windows/woodwork/fire, and an open-but-cozy feel, this room is packed with "wow" factor.
Separated by just a few architecturally detailed columns, the great room opens into the kitchen. Loaded with the types of finishes you'd expect in a home of this level, you also gain plenty of storage with the abundance of cabinets and a walk-in pantry.
Beyond the kitchen is your garage entry and 1st floor laundry room; there is one upstairs too.
Located on the other side of the great room is a 1st floor bedroom and a bathroom that includes a shower stall. It's a great setup for guests or even an in-law suite.
The 2nd floor is home to lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. 4 and 3 to be exact.
The owner's suite is like a scene right out of a magazine. Double doors open to reveal features like a 4-sided fireplace, tray ceiling, a bump-out for the sitting area, and hardwood floors bordering the inlaid carpet. Your private bathroom includes a custom double vanity, soaking tub, and a huge dual-head shower. The walk-in closet is a room unto itself and in a stroke of genius, the builders included a 2nd laundry hookup.
The next bedroom --across the hall-- has its own private bathroom as well as a really fun decor.
Cross the catwalk and you come to 2 more bedrooms that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The room to the left is very elegant and sports a chandelier while the room to the right has a completely different feel with its plantation shutters.
Basement: The finished lower level is currently used as the playroom --in case you didn't notice the trampoline-- but has also been set up as another living space. There is plenty of room for another couch and some chairs and it already has a built-in bar and a half bath.
They were smart enough to leave you room for storage though. The mechanical area -home to 2 hot water tanks and 2 furnaces- has room for all your seasonal storage.
Exterior: The exterior of the home has a rich, full look to it. The natural beauty of stone and stucco, a mature landscape, brick paver driveway and sidewalks, and a stamped concrete patio. Pinnacle Estates holds their homes to a high standard.
We already told you how close you are to the clubhouse, golf course, and Cimi's Bistro… but living in Pinnacle means you also have access to the community center and its swimming pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and more.
