Why We Love It
1. Town Center Location. Leave the car in the garage and take a stroll to Downtown Grove City. Morning, noon, or night there is always something happening in this ever evolving Town Center (Have you seen the brand new library? Amazing!). Fresh produce, jellies, and baked goods are bountiful from spring to fall at the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market... and while you're there, why not stop by Capital City Cakes to grab some cupcakes to go? If you need a little retail therapy, it’s always nice to support small local businesses like Never Grow Up Boutique, Zassy's Treasures, and The Farm Table to find unique items. If you get hungry or thirsty, there are plenty of places to choose from; Lilly’s and Planks are Grove City staples while the new kids on the block, Hop Yard 62 and the Grove City Brewing Company, are a great way to end the night. In the fall, invite your friends and family over for a front row seat for the Arts in the Alley Parade as it makes its way down Broadway.
2. 2-Car Garage. Since this property’s location is ideally situated for walk-ability, it's nice to know you can store both of your vehicles in a garage while you're out. This detached garage has plenty of room to store your tools and yard machinery while the driveway can hold multiple cars for your get-togethers before and after the Arts in the Alley Parade & Festival. Large garages aren't always a given with these older homes, so don't overlook this feature.
3. Square Footage. The popular saying “less is more” doesn't usually apply when it comes to finding a new home; most Buyers know “more is more.” With 2,315 square feet in this home, we have you covered. From the large living and dining rooms, out to the sun porch (who doesn’t love a sun porch!?), and up to the second floor, there is plenty of space to spread out. Storage wise... the three bedrooms on the main floor all have closets that are large for the era, there are 3 closets in the main hallway, and just take a glance at the entire hallway of closets on the second floor. Those cedar lined closets are perfect for your out of season clothing and linens with plenty of of room to spare for the 4th bedroom at the end. If that's not enough to satisfy your inner pack rat, the full size basement is ready to store everything else, with room for a pool table or your workout equipment.
