Why We Love It
Backyard
Stepping thru the sliding glass doors and onto the large back deck, it is easy to see why this is one of our favorite spots. The deck has plenty of room for all your outdoor furniture and being just steps from the kitchen, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The back of the lot is tree-lined with a stream, giving you the kind of privacy that many people who live in neighborhoods would envy. The lush landscape is easy to maintain so you'll have plenty of time to sit around the firepit and enjoy the summer.
Open Concept
I’ve been in many split-level homes over the years and I love the openness the main level of this home offers. Entertaining is easy when you have this much space… the large peninsula that separates the dining area from the living room is the perfect spot to set out your hors d'oeuvres while the open kitchen keeps everyone from bumping into one another. Then, as I mentioned above, the party just naturally spills out onto the large deck and backyard.
Lower Level
With a cozy wood burning stove surrounded by a brick hearth and wood mantle, this level is warm and inviting. You'll have plenty of space to hang, watch TV, or play games in the finished space down here and there is even a half bath saving you another trip up the steps. Beyond the finished area, you'll find a large laundry and storage area.
What You Need To Know
Pulling up the driveway of this Brookpark 3-level split, you are greeted by a large locust tree that shades the front yard. Don’t forget to look up and take a peek at the brand new roof.
Entry Level
Once through the front door, you find neutral paint and flooring that flows throughout the home.
The main level is open, spacious, and bright thanks to the large front windows and new sliding glass patio door in the back.
The current layout of the living room offers a nice conversation area, and the placement of the TV gives you and your guests vantage from multiple areas.
The kitchen offers new flooring, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of cabinets and counter space (especially with the large peninsula that separates the eating space and living room).
The dine-in space will hold a large table and the updated ceiling fan keeps air moving through the home.
Upper Level
Upstairs you will find all three bedrooms and both full bathrooms.
The owner's suite is spacious and has an adjoining 3-piece bathroom (a rarity in this neighborhood) with a brand new shower and ceramic tile floor.
The two spare bedrooms have large windows and ample closet space. The larger of the two rooms, which the current owners are using as an office, has a built-in desk with a wall of bookshelves.
The full bathroom that these rooms share has a freshly glazed bathtub and neutral tile on the floor.
Lower Level
The lower level of this home has a wood burning stove with a brick hearth and wood mantle surround.
There is plenty of space to hang out on some comfy furniture and a great little nook where you could have a game or craft table set up.
A large closet next to the steps offers tons of storage potential and a nice sized half bath complete the finished space.
The large laundry and storage area gives you plenty of room for some shelves and all your plastic tubs.
Backyard
The fenced-in backyard is definitely one of our favorite features.
It offers plenty of privacy, room to play, and tons of space to relax after a hard day.
And we can’t forget about the 2-car garage!
